Hannah M. Watkins

Prior to joining the Chapman Firm, Hannah represented clients in construction defect and contract disputes, construction and oil field accidents, personal injury disputes arising out of commercial trucking accidents, and premises and product defects. Hannah also uses her years of litigation experience to counsel owners, general contractors, and subcontractors and effectively evaluate liability for a wide range of industries at all stages of a dispute.

On a personal note:

Hannah is a native of Austin. After practicing in San Antonio for the majority of her legal career, her family relocated to Austin and recently built a home. Above all, her favorite role is being a mom. When Hannah is not working, she is chasing around her toddler son all over the great city of Austin.

Representative Experience

• Represented general contractor in a payment dispute and obtained summary judgment against breach of contract and breach of warranty claims.
• Represented general contractor in construction defect case on and obtained additional insured tender from subcontractor for full defense of claims asserted against contractor.
• Obtained favorable settlement on behalf of homeowners in a construction defect case involving defective concrete used in the homeowner’s pool and spa construction.
• Drafted partnership agreements for joint venture business growth.
• Obtained favorable settlement for homeowners in a construction defect case involving defective concrete used in pool construction.
• Represented general contractor in an OSHA proceeding.
• Represented subcontractor in an OSHA proceeding.
