Commissioners Want Prison Contract Modified

The County’s primary concerns were exposure to liability from lawsuits and potential damages for breach of contract.  Jeff Chapman addressed the commissioner’s court about the indemnity obligations and sovereign immunity.  The commissioners asked the firm to renegotiate part of the terms of the contract to provide more favorable terms and protection of the county.
